We engrave this type of thing regularly for control panel manufacturers, they are sometimes supplied as “free issue” and pre shaped, or we laser cut to specification. This electrical control panel was 3 metres X 1.5 metres, the symbols and legend were engraved and then paint filled black and red.  

Isotope flasks which were etched on the round with safety information for Ocean Scan who supply hydrographic survey equipment, ROV Sensors, non-destructive testing and inspection systems to the oil industry, worldwide.  

Incline indicators for a crane, they are engraved on 10 millimetres thick stainless steel 316 which was supplied to us free issue.
